This course presents an overview of NFPA 101 Life Safety Code and the related requirements for healthcare organizations. Attendees will explore practical applications of the NFPA 101 Life Safety Code to be more informed and prepared for accreditation surveys.
Class begins at 8:00 AM (check in prior to that time). Breakfast and lunch included onsite.

PRESENTER BIO: Mark Chrisman
Mark joined Henderson Engineers in 2004 and has designed healthcare environments for some of the biggest names in the industry, providing technical and code compliance expertise. Mark is heavily involved with many professional organizations, including ASHE, NFPA, and ICC, among others, and was recognized as the outstanding Building Professional on Healthcare Design’s 2020 HCD 10.
Mark is that special rare breed of smart where not only does he love to learn, but he also naturally teaches those around him. He is known for his uncanny ability to recall specific codes and uses his immense knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements to help save clients’ money and time on projects.
