Market Sector Highlight
Overview:
The purpose of the Market Sector Spotlight is to showcase new and innovative healthcare projects, highlighting the contributions of architects, engineers, and contractors. Each quarter, a new healthcare project will be selected, showcased on the screen and mentioned before our quarterly meetings.
Goals:
Promote awareness of innovative healthcare projects.
Highlight the contributions of architects, engineers and contractors.
Educate industry professionals on current trends and practices in healthcare design and construction.
Celebrate outstanding contributions of healthcare systems, industry professionals, and community leaders in our city, state, area or nationally as long as the team includes one of our KCAHE members.
Submission Guidelines:
A. Eligibility
Project must be healthcare-related (hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, specialized medical buildings, etc.). Request might be specialized (Cancer Centers, Birth Centers, etc.)
Project to have been completed within the last year or on-going.
Health System, Architect, Engineer, and Contractor permission to be provided before the submission is considered eligible.
B. Participants
Architects, engineering firms, contractors, or project owners can submit.
C. Submission Format
Written description (short).
Visuals: Include professional images of the project and/or renderings.
Credits: Acknowledgment of health system, architect, engineering firm, and contractor or any other KCAHE member involved in the project.
D. Submission Process
Submissions should be sent via email to the secretary of record each quarter.
Secretary will forward to President for selection after criteria has been verified.
Include the following in the subject line: Project Name – Market Sector Spotlight Submission.
Submissions must include full contact details of the submitting party.

Spotlight displayed and mentioned at quarterly meetings.
